Multitude Tour visuals

I had the opportunity to join the Multitude Tour with Cutback studio right from the ideation phase. We developed concepts and visuals for several tracks, considering the impressive scenography that featured ten mobile screens controlled by robotic arms. I was leading two tracks, guiding them from the ideation phase all the way to the residency at Arena Paleis 12 in Brussels.

For the song Riez, the idea was to harmonise the visuals and the screens with the meaning of the song’s four verses, which are decreasing. The first verse is about dreams of fame and success, represented by art-deco gold visuals with a screen structure inspired by the peacock-tail. Then, the visuals become more minimalist and the screens close one by one, leading up to the last verse, which reflects a person with basic human needs who still dares to dream big.

For the song Pas vraiment, the concept was to recreate buildings facades where, through the windows, you can see a variety of little scenes from daily life. This aimed to capture the feeling of curiosity about observing the lives of neighbours and gossiping about them without really knowing them.
